An Super Anti Aging Diet That Will Make You Look 10-20 Years Younger
If you’re interested in anti aging and want to look years younger, then you should make sure that your diet is truly an anti aging diet.
What do I mean by this?
Well, there are certain diets (several in fact) that have been shown to be anti aging by the fact that they promote improved health as well as making your skin look younger.
Often years younger, and even decades.

You would notice that most countries recommend 5 veggies a day. Hey, this is better than nothing, but if you can, aim for higher just like the Okinawans.
Why are veggies so good? They’re full of nutrients and antioxidants, are low GI (except for potatoes) and are low in calorie density. You can fill up on veggies and will not gain fat – unlike dense carbs like bread or pasta.

3 flavanoid foods a day
What on earth are flavanoid foods?
There are several of these in fact.

Soy foods such as miso soup and tofu (such as cooked in stir fries) in Japanese and Asian foods are flavanoid foods. Also beans and legumes contain flavanoids. Remember how good lentils are supposed to be for you? Well, they are! And here are some more: onions and apples also contain flavanoids.

2 omega 3 rich foods a day
If you’re into anti aging, you would have heard of omega 3 fatty acids.
They are great for the heart, as well as for reducing skin wrinkles. They’re an essential fat which means that your body can’t produce them, so you need to get it from your diet.
How do you get them? Omega rich fish such as salmon, trout, sardines are great. Tuna is becoming a bit out of favour among many anti aging specialists because they are larger fish and are more at risk of mercury contamination.
Alternatives are molecularly distilled fish oil capsules, or flax seed oil.

3 calcium rich foods per day
Great calcium rich foods include tofu, tempeh, soy milk and yoghurt. They’re great sources of protein as well as calcium. Also there’s something special with yoghurt.
Yoghurt is a fermented food with good bacteria, which means that the health of your gut is maintained and helps digestion. It has also been associated with fat loss, and reduced risk of diabetes.

Finish eating when you are 80% full.
The Okinawans even have a phrase for this principle. It’s called ‘hara hachi bu’. This is accompanied by good habits with eating such as eating when not in a hurry, eating while sitting, and eating in a happy social setting.
Over-nutrition not only can make you gain weight, it’s also a strain on your body to process the excess food.
And in fact, the Okinawans emphasize the importance of a heathly social life.
So there you go!
This is just one of the several anti aging diets that make you look younger.
How do I find this diet?
I find this diet very delicious as it's full of wholesome food instead of processed food.
And it's also super easy to make. The recipes I use take less than 20-30 minutes max to prepare because the Japanese are simple and healthy in their recipes.
This is important as we all have busy lives.
And I felt so much healthier and more stable physically and mentally as well as these foods are low GI and have the good fats which keeps the body and mind truly balanced and healthy.
After you feel this, you would never want to go back!
This is why I love this diet so much, aside from its health benefits.
In fact, here's a recipe for you:

Miso Soup Ingredients: Miso paste - 1/2 teaspoons Dashi stock - dash Wakame (dried seaweed) - 4-5 pieces Spring onions - 4-5 thin slices Soft tofu - 4-5 small cubes Boiling water Method: Place ingredients in a small Japanese bowl Add boiling water Mix to dissolve the miso paste It's now ready to serve! |
Just look at the above steps and see if you can use some or all of the tips.
So start by learning these steps:
How to have more veggies in your diet (remember aim for about 10 types a day!) and to cook them in new ways.
How to make miso soup (it just takes a few simple ingredients and is instant).
How to cook fish especially fresh salmon, trout or sardines (baked or barbequed - so quick and easy)
How to cook tofu or tempeh.
Relax while you eat, enjoy the meal in an unrushed manner, and finish when 80% full.
By doing this, you’ll be off to a flying start!
