If you’ve been reading the press recently, there has been a lot of talk about anti aging foods, and even the ‘Superfoods’.
So what are the top 3 diets when it comes to anti aging.

1. The raw food diet

The way to start? Have 1 raw meal a week, then 3 or 4 a week and so on, until you feel you have the right mix of raw and cooked foods.

Raw vegetable juicers, raw fruits, raw deserts such as coconut and date, and even raw sauces!
2. The Perricone diet

This diet, or series of diets actually, is from the author of ‘The Wrinkle Cure’ which is about the natural way to look younger including the 3 day face lift.
His diet advice includes a variety of foods such as:
a) acai berries (or powder) or as an alternative I love the ‘essential green’s drinks
b) omega 3 rich foods such as salmon
c) sprouts and alfalfa
d) yoghurt and kefir
e) beans
And a whole lot more.
The great thing is that there are so many good superfoods here that you get a variety of nutrients and tastes and you will definitely leanr a few new recipes along the way.
What a great way to eat. Enjoy new foods and look younger too.
3. The low GI diet

Did you know that low GI foods cause less aging hormones and thus less aging on your entire body?
Not only that, you feel stable mentally and physically as well with low GI foods.
No more strong cravings for sugar or mood swings. How great is that?
Low GI means:
a) less risk of skin and organ aging
b) less risk of diabetes
c) easier weight loss and fat loss
Now these are great advantages aren’t they?
My favorite foods here are:
a) a really good multigrain bread (so much better than white)
b) fish (high protein, and is low GI)
c) yoghurt – because it’s a good source of protein, add it to muesli or have it as a snack with frit to lower the GI value of the meal
d) Basmati rice instead of other rices
e) avocado – full of good oils

So there you go.
You now have 3 anti aging diets that you can use.
And among them, there are some foods that are in more than 1 diet.
Try them out, including new recipes, and soon you’ll be eating all these great anti aging foods and enjoying them much more than other foods.
So what do you notice?
1. These foods actually make you feel better, some of them within minutes of eating them.
